BBQ Worship

Many prayers were answered when the weather kept dry and enabled us to have our summer BBQ worship service at Chris & Catherine’s house in Legbourne on Sunday August 30th. After everyone had been pressed to try and consume all the food (bread rolls were the only items that were left in any great numbers), Paul led us in worship with Nick aiding on his banjo.

Chris & Catherine were grateful that help in tidying up enabled them to get to the village pub in time for the results of the annual scarecrow competition (theme heroes & villains), where Chris’s brilliantly created David & Goliath came in a very creditable 3rd!
